More Information
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Warsaw and drive to the launch site near Biebrza or Narew National Park (depending on wind and weather). After a safety briefing and balloon inflation, we’ll gently lift off into the open skies of Podlasie, one of Poland’s most untouched and natural regions.
As we ascend, the landscape unfolds below—meandering rivers, mist-covered marshes, and dense forests where elk, cranes, and storks still roam freely. We’ll float above scattered wooden villages, small farms, and winding trails that disappear into the wilderness.
Each flight is unique, guided by the breeze and shaped by the season. You might glide over the wide Biebrza floodplain or drift above the ribbon-like Narew River and its maze of oxbows and islands. The silence is striking, broken only by the occasional call of birds or the soft hiss of the burner.
After around an hour in the air, we’ll slowly descend for a gentle landing, where a traditional balloonist toast and local snacks await. A peaceful and unforgettable way to discover the wild beauty of the Polish Amazon from above.
After the flight and depending on the weather we will drive to a nearby town fo a site seeing and breakfast (no included in the price). From there we will drive back to Warsaw and take you back to your hotel so you can get the much needed rest.

Q&A
What is the minimum age to join the flight?
No minimum age, however we do not recommend the flight for kids under 8 years old
What are the skills needed to join the flights?
No skills needed.
How hard is the activity?
This experience is easy. Those interested can take part in unfolding the balloon and filling it.
When it is possible to fly hot air balloon in Poland?
It is the year round activity, however the best time is from mid April to mid October.
What to bring?
– Comfortable shoes (no high-hills or flip-flops ).
– Suitable clothing for the weather (layers recommended in cold weather).
Please do not bring any unnecessary luggage to avoid weighing down the balloon and allowing you freedom of movement in the gondola. A camera or camcorder is welcome. However, during the flight, please do not place your equipment overboard, as if it slips out of your hands, it will be lost forever. However, during landing, you must have your hands free to hold onto the internal handles in the basket. It’s a good idea to protect your camera from accidental damage.
How long is the flight?
A balloon flight from takeoff to landing typically lasts about one hour. For the entire balloon trip, it is recommended to reserve around 3–5 hours to allow time for travel, preparation for takeoff, the flight itself, packing up the equipment, and returning from the landing site. The flight time is usually planned for one hour, but this may be slightly shortened or extended. The top priority is a safe landing, which takes into account good post-flight logistics and care for the property where the balloon lands.
Can we fly during the day?
On warm days, strong convective currents are generated in the air due to the heating of the ground by the sun. Hot air balloons are not designed to fly in such conditions. In winter, convective currents do not occur, so flights can also take place during the day. However, from April to October, flights are only conducted very early in the morning (2–3 hours after sunrise) and late in the afternoon and evening (2–3 hours before sunset).
How to dress?
It is always recommended to wear comfortable sports shoes with flat soles, long pants, and long sleeves because of mosquitoes. The landing takes place in natural terrain, and in the morning grass is often covered with dew, and the landing area may be wet. To protect against the heat from the burner, one can wear a hat or other head covering. Generally, it is not colder in the balloon than on the ground. The balloon moves at the wind speed, so gusts are not felt, but on cold days it is advisable to wear a jacket or fleece—preferably something with a zipper that can be easily removed.
How far we’ll go?
Hot air balloons cannot be steered in the traditional sense, so they move with the wind, and a qualified pilot controls the altitude by heating the air inside the balloon. How far the flight will go depends on the wind speed. It also depends on how long it takes to find a suitable place to land.
How does the landing look?
Flying in a balloon is a very calm experience in the air, but it is an outdoor adventure, and sometimes during landing the basket may tilt and/or slide before settling. Balloons have been landing this way for over 200 years, and this is completely normal. The balloon and basket are designed for comfort and safety during the flight. During landing, you will be in a safe, seated position in the basket according to the pilot’s instructions. The landing is an exciting part of the experience, and in many cases, people say it is their favorite part of the flight.
When should we book the flight?
It is important to remember that the weather plays the most crucial role, and despite having a reservation for a specific date, the flight may not take place. Therefore, we always stay in contact with passengers 5 to 2 days before the planned date, providing them with up-to-date information about weather conditions and the upcoming flight. We always try to confirm the specific flight date as early as possible. Sometimes weather changes are so dynamic that the confirmation is made just a few hours before the flight, taking into account, of course, the ability of all passengers to reach the meeting place and doing so with their approval.
In case of bad weather, it is necessary to reserve a little bit more time. For example: if we start on Saturday after sunrise, and in case of bad weather conditions, we postpone to the afternoon before sunset. If the flight cannot take place on Saturday, we follow the same procedure on Sunday.
Are there any medical restrictions?
A definite medical contraindication is primarily a strong fear of heights. However, many people experience only a surface fear of heights that disappears once the balloon takes off and does not manifest at all during the flight. The balloon basket is a safe and comfortable place, surrounding passengers on all sides. Many passengers are actually surprised by the absence of fear and the feeling of safety during the flight. Therefore, if there are no explicit medical recommendations, flying can be done without worry. Due to the possible impact and laying down of the basket during landing, participation in the flight is not recommended for people who have had or have serious bone or joint injuries or implants. Women in advanced pregnancy should also not fly in a balloon. In case of doubt, it is always advisable to consult a specialist doctor.
